SYSTEMS for mineral processing
General System Description
QMR IMM systems are fully self-contained and encased in wear resistance plastic- no cabinets just connect 9-36Vdc and your choice of output – options include: 4-20ma, 0-10volts, Modbus, frequency modulation and storage to SD card.
Installation
The system can be a probe, encircling coil or bench top configuration coil into which a sample is placed. In the case of the encircling coil the section of pipe in the detection coil must be non-conductive (i.e. radiator type house). The probe can be inserted into a sampling port for continuous measurement or be a hand held device for density measurement around the plant.
Applications include:
- Coal processing - monitoring media density in the sump, under screens or in pipes both continuous and portable testing for operational checks.
- Coal processing – monitoring for magnetite losses
- Mineral sands – monitor ilmenite during processes
- Copper and nickel smelting – measure the magnetite content of slag
- Processing of Rare Earth Minerals – grade control
