General System Description
QMR IMM systems are fully self-contained and encased in wear resistance plastic- no cabinets just connect 9-36Vdc and your choice of output – options include: 4-20ma, 0-10volts, Modbus, frequency modulation and storage to SD card.
Installation
The system can be probe, encircling coil or rectangular coil assembly. In the case of encircling coil the section of pipe in the detection coil must be non-conductive (i.e. radiator type house). In the case of the rectangular coil assembly the industrial grade, wear resistance assembly one side is attached to the surface with the material directly in contact with other surface.
Applications include:
- Mining - Measuring tramp iron in gizzly's and conveyors
- Drilling – Measuring drill cuttings as part of mine assessment activities
